My ‘WHY’?…

Put simply, I love helping others to succeed by finding ways to make things better.

After twenty years working in a variety of local government roles I’ve built up a knowledge bank of experience at both executive and operational levels.

Over this time I have worked out how to use my interpersonal and relationship skills to get the best out of individuals and teams. I have made the conscious choice to put my strengths and experience into enabling, supporting and partnering individuals and organisations where help is most needed and where I can add value.

I have now created a lifestyle that allows me to use these strengths to help others find their happy place both in their business and personal lives.

But I am committed to only doing this through honest and genuine connections with people first.

I am really keen to work with people and organisations who need help to break through the barriers that are getting in the way of getting where they want to be.

My strengths are in being able to see situations from multiple perspectives, explore a wide range of potential solutions, and ask ‘why not?’. It’s too easy to get stuck in the ‘we’ve always done it this way…’ syndrome, and as a result, opportunities to improve are missed.

By offering a fresh perspective it is usually possible to find ways to achieve positive changes.

I consider myself a true Cantabrian and am a passionate advocate for our amazing city and region. I am constantly inspired by the commitment and innovative spirit shown by local businesses in the drive to survive and thrive.

I'm at my best when I am trading in the currency of connection, where being ‘me’ gives you permission to be ‘you'
